Job Description

We are looking for our first Influencer Manager in North America (NorthAm) to join our Strategic Partnerships team. This is a new, regional role for a driven and ambitious individual ready to turbocharge our influencer marketing efforts and expand into high-opportunity markets.

You will be a social media expert who thrives on a challenge, owning the full strategy and execution for an exciting growth vertical. Your mission will be to identify, test, and scale influencer partnerships across a vast and diverse region, driving tangible results by connecting Wise with new audiences.

You'll be responsible for end-to-end influencer partnerships from crafting a localized strategy and negotiating commercial deals to managing campaigns and serving as a local product expert. This will require close collaboration with regional managers and internal marketing teams (e.g. PR, Organic Social, Paid Social), leveraging influencer talent and content to support wider campaigns and maximize our reach.

Responsibilities

  • Influencer Management & New Deals:

    • Develop and manage regional influencer campaigns, including campaign strategy, sourcing influencers, negotiating rates, managing contracts, reporting and forecasting 

    • Work with regional leads to explore and justify other influencer channels for growth 

    • Develop and execute comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns that align with Wise's NORTHAM growth objectives and target audience (using our influencer tool)

  • Strategy and Execution:

    • Design and implement influencer marketing strategies to double down on growth and drive new customers

    • Collaborate with other teams in marketing to create compelling content with a wider use case

    • Create new and improved investment frameworks for the region

    • Become a regional product specialist within the team

    • Create new strategic growth opportunities for the region via influencers and advocacy, for e.g. events, activations and ambassador programs

  • Regional Management:

    • Oversee regional influencer marketing activities to ensure alignment with the global strategy 

    • Manage regional influencer roles and coordinate efforts to maximize local impact

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Provide regular reporting and analysis at a regional level on campaign outcomes and KPIs and use this to inform future strategy 

  • Program Operations

    • Understand and implement the operational side of influencer deals, including payments, compliance, tool management and forecasting

Qualifications

A bit about you -

  • Extensive experience in influencer marketing with a proven track record building and scaling influencer programs to drive customer growth 

  • Experience working with or within influencer management agencies

  • Experience in setting up many different types and sizes of commercial deals

  • Regional expertise and demonstrable knowledge of the social media landscape, key channels, and influencer communities within the US, Canada and Mexico

  • Experience monetising social media followers

  • Enthusiastic, creative team player with a genuine love for all things content related

  • A self-starter who can work autonomously, managing projects end-to-end, including budget, timelines and deliverables

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify performance trends and  opportunities with examples of measurement across influencer campaigns

  • Experience working with junior team members to mentor and scale projects

  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally is key

Nice to have - 

  • Experience managing influencers/talent/ambassadors in the financial technology industry

  • Understanding of affiliate programs

  • Fluency in a local language(s) relevant to the role

  • Experience working on diverse content types, beyond just sponsored posts
