Your Role and Responsibilities Job Summary:

To assist assigned Market Managers in their portfolio of key suppliers across North America with a focus on promotion and profitable growth, keeping in mind Brenntag corporate goals as well as supplier target expectations.

Job Description:

  • Assist Industry Market Manager (IMM) on assigned group of suppliers on a North American basis
  • In coordination with IMM Analyze market trends and prepare forecast of assigned products to achieve Specialties overall target for inventory turns as well as individual target for dead and extremely slow moving stock
  • Coordinate activities with IMM, throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure inventory minimum and established deadlines are met
  • Participates with sales management, product managers and business units in establishing recommended price changes base on market intel provide by IMM or supplier base increases
  • Assist IMM with business units in the creation of product line strategic for select markets
  • Support IMM with strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Provides technical support to the sales organization and/or other members of the marketing team, procurement, regulatory and operations team as required
  • Help in pricing support in all regional operating companies for Care portfolio
  • Support IMM collaboration with Regional Operating Companies and process improvements
Your Profile 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business; Specialized courses covering target industries would be considered assets
  • Previous sales or product experience in the chemical distribution or related industry
  • Presentation, communication and negotiation skills an asset
  • Marketing & pricing skills
