Job Description

Position Overview:

As the Industry Manager for Hybrid Manufacturing (F&B/CPG), you will lead the execution of the strategy for this vertical within Rockwell's Elastic MES Industry Strategy team. You will be both strategist and execution leader, defining the market vision, aligning stakeholders across sales, solutions, product, marketing, and global regions, and ensuring go-to-market execution that drives growth, differentiation, and customer success. You will need to have experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems and be comfortable engaging with all types and levels of stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Industry Strategy and Growth.

Your Responsibilities:
  • You will own the target ARR Growth and return on investment for industry growth investments.
  • Develop the industry strategy for the process manufacturing industry
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans across regions, covering target accounts, solution positioning, partner ecosystem development, and value proposition alignment.
  • Be the industry domain expert, with deep understanding of hybrid manufacturing business drivers and stay ahead of new market trends.
  • Engage with senior executives across target customers to influence transformation programs and strengthen Rockwell's position as a trusted partner.
  • Partner with sales leadership, solution architects, product management, marketing, and system integrators to ensure cohesive execution of the industry strategy.
  • Enable the field with industry-specific content, tools, sales enablement materials, expertise, and success stories to promote Rockwell's position in hybrid manufacturing.
  • Measure performance using industry specific metrics including market share, pipeline, win rate, and profitability, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Be the voice of the customer and the industry, bringing insights into product roadmaps, partnership decisions, and investment priorities to ensure continued differentiation and relevance.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 25% of time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Success in building vertical/market strategies, ideally in manufacturing, industrial software, or consulting.
  • Engage with senior executives to articulate business value, and navigate enterprise level discussions.
  • Proven ability to connect industry challenges to tangible technology and business outcomes.
  • Take a data driven approach with a willingness to drive operational execution.
  • Typically requires five or more years of experience in process manufacturing industries such as Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Previous MES or ERP experience with Rockwell Automation or a similar industrial technology company.
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems, MES, ERP, AI, and OT solutions.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations with global teams and partners.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in process industries, such as conference participation or published content.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $130,160.00 - 195,240.00 USD with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary. Our company benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
