Job Description

Rockwell Automation is looking for an Industry Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader for modernization and digital transformation initiatives. In this strategic role, you'll engage with executive stakeholders, influence industry standards, and help architect cutting-edge solutions that connect edge-to-cloud technologies and enable smarter operations.

As part of our team, you'll collaborate with leadership, marketing, and sales enablement to create frameworks and strategies that position Rockwell Automation as the partner of choice for digital transformation. Your expertise will guide customers through their journey, aligning their vision with Rockwell's capabilities and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Exhibit deep expertise in industry standards (e.g., CESMII, Weihenstephan, OPAF) and trends, positioning Rockwell Automation as a credible modernization and digital transformation partner.
  • Strategic Customer Engagement: Engage with executives, business leaders, and operations teams to develop executive messaging frameworks, strategic roadmaps, and transformation initiatives.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic advisor for transformation and roadmap development, aligning customer vision with Rockwell's capabilities and solutions.
  • Framework Development: Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and sales enablement to create consistent collateral for top-to-top engagements and strategic partnerships.
  • Architectural Guidance: Develop target use cases and support reusable architectures and services, especially in edge-to-cloud strategies and Digital initiatives.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • A valid drivers license.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 8+ years of experience in industry consulting experience, preferably within the CPG sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, automation, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing at the executive level
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and with external partners.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $154,720.00  - 232,080.00 USD Annual of which 80% is base salary and 20% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
