Core Responsibilities

  • Navigate across the Personal Investor division and Enterprise to monitor business health and provide direction, oversight, and influence on IRT activation and focus, partnering closely with IRT leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Convene and lead the Personal Investor IRT during divisional incidents, facilitating effective incident response, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and problem solving, and providing business continuity thought leadership to drive business recovery.
  • Lead incident post-incident reviews (PIRs), including root cause analysis, data collection, and executive-level communications, and translate insights into actionable resilience improvements.
  • Develop playbooks and lead exercises focused on improving response capabilities for key risks and current events.
  • Manage executive stakeholder engagement by delivering periodic updates on IRT program health, using data analytics and storytelling to influence decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as the connective tissue between the Personal Investor IRT and Enterprise crisis management functions to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Operate as a strategic player-coach, driving resilience initiatives across the Personal Investor Contingency team, coaching junior analysts, and strengthening integration across planning, testing, and crisis management workstreams.
  • Promote engagement, development, and a shared strategic direction for business continuity through strong cross-team partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Three years of business contingency or disaster recovery management experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) is preferred, Associate Business Continuity Professional (ACBP) (ABCP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (CISSP), or progress towards business continuity planning certification is preferred.
