We hope you will consider joining our team! ALL human beings are welcome, and we are committed to helping you thrive here. We believe our team, as well as the outdoors, is for everyone.

We are growing fast and looking for a motivated and people-first Inbound & SDR Sales Manager to lead our inbound sales team and develop our SDR function into a high-performing, scalable pipeline engine. If you're a builder who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys coaching and optimizing sales processes, this role is for you.

About the Role:

As the Inbound & SDR Sales Manager, you will lead two critical pipeline-generating functions:

  • Inbound Lead Qualification & Conversion, and
  • SDR-driven Inbound Demo Setting

You will directly manage our team of Inbound AEs and SDRs—ensuring rapid lead follow-up, lead-to-demo conversion, and pipeline coverage in partnership with Marketing and RevOps. You’ll be responsible for building foundational processes, coaching reps, and aligning resources to our market segmentation and GTM motion.

This is a player-coach role for a rising sales leader who wants to shape the next phase of Campspot’s growth engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Coaching
    • Manage, coach, and grow a team of Inbound Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
    • Define and reinforce daily activity expectations, SLA adherence, and performance metrics across both functions
    • Support new hire onboarding, skill development, and continuous coaching using scorecards, call reviews, and shadowing
    • Foster a high-energy, accountable, and inclusive team culture
  • Inbound Sales & Lead Management
    • Ensure timely, high-quality follow-up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, referral sources, and the Campspot platform
    • Monitor and improve speed-to-lead, lead qualification, and demo conversion
    • Collaborate with Marketing to align campaign follow-up and lead routing logic via HubSpot
    • Own overall Inbound Team performance and responsible for ensuring individuals, and the team overall, hit and exceed monthly team-wide targets
  • SDR Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and execute an SDR playbook, including cadences, scripts, tools usage, and territory/tier coverage
    • Refine demo-setting workflows, qualification criteria, and hand-off protocols to AEs
    • Track outbound and inbound-sourced SDR performance and drive improvements through training and automation
  • Sales Process & Operational Excellence
    • Partner with RevOps to monitor performance dashboards, campaign influence, and funnel metrics (MQL > SQL > Demo > Pipeline)
    • Identify bottlenecks, optimize conversion rates, and ensure rep-level accountability
    • Work closely with AEs and Marketing to ensure pipeline coverage across segments and territories

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in sales, with 2+ years of team leadership experience (inbound, SDR, or AE teams)
  • Proven track record of hitting sales or demo-setting targets in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Experience working in or alongside a RevOps or HubSpot-centric CRM system is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with cadence tools, lead routing, and sales enablement workflows
  • Strong coaching, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and energized by scaling repeatable processes
  • A self-starter who thrives in a growth-stage environment with evolving systems

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Total compensation for this role includes a base salary plus commissions, with total On Target Earnings of $115-125k
  • Competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options at affordable rates
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Flexible and casual work environment: we offer flexible PTO and a remote-first workplace
  • Employee camping credit to encourage getting outdoors and experiencing our product!

While Campspot is a remote-first company, high priority will be given to candidates located near our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters or our Denver, CO hub. Secondary consideration will be given to candidates who reside in states where we currently have employees, including CO, IL, ME, MA, MI, NH, NY, NC, OR, TX, UT, VT, and VA. Candidates located outside of the US or any of the states listed previously are not able to be considered at this time.

Campspot is a motivated team of outdoor enthusiasts and software professionals with decades of experience in the campground and outdoor industry. We’re looking to grow with people who embody our culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation. Today our portfolio includes two distinct but synergistic products:

1. Campspot Management Software (https://software.campspot.com/) is the leading provider of reservation management software and tools for campgrounds and RV parks. It revolutionized the industry through its proprietary technology, allowing park owners to increase revenue through its inventory optimization tool and site-lock capabilities.

2. The Campspot Marketplace (campspot.com and Campspot mobile app) is an online marketplace where travelers can find accommodations for their camping trips. Campspot’s inventory is 100% bookable and includes robust filters to help travelers customize their travel experience.
