What you'll do:
As an Inbound Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for individuals reaching out to Vanguard- people who are ready to take control of their financial future. You will:
- Promote Vanguard's broad array of products and services to prospective and existing clients, helping them discover the value of investing with us.
- Uncover and understand client needs, then match them with the right Vanguard solutions- whether it's retirement planning, brokerage services or investment guidance.
- Collaborate with a team that is as driven and client obsessed as you are.

What it takes
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience. Sales experience preferred.
- This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, NASAA). The SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 are required to be obtained within department guidelines.
- The SIE is a mandatory requirement of the job and must be obtained no later than 14 calendar days before identified start date
- Ability to deliver an exceptional investor experience.
- Ability to deliver an exceptional client relationship management experience.
- Ability to consistently drive strong sales outcomes.
- Ability to manage internal relationships with key business partners to complete the sale.
- Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and ability to apply conceptual thinking.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Comfort with phone, web, email and social media channels in which clients engage with Vanguard.

If you are offered and accept this position, and you do not have the necessary FINRA licenses for the role, then you must obtain the required licenses within the specified period of time. Additionally, if you are not currently registered with FINRA in any capacity, prior to moving into this licensed role, you will be asked to provide authorization for Vanguard to conduct a credit and criminal check in accordance with the FINRA regulations.
Total potential compensation for this role is $74,000-$84,000 ($60,000-70,000 base salary plus up to a $12,500 bonus and additional hourly pay) within your first year upon obtaining the required licensing and achieving performance standards.
