About Mosey

Mosey makes employment compliance a breeze so fast-growing companies can hire and operate anywhere—without the administrative burden.

What's so hard about hiring people in multiple locations anyway?

Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. Those requirements span HR, tax, accounting, and legal which is complicated and requires deep expertise. As a result, keeping up with the differences and the sheer volume of obligations makes hiring people in many locations expensive and painful.

About the role

You will be the public face of Mosey with prospective customers. You will lead full sales cycles through to successful closure, and iterate on the underlying sales motion to ensure it’s built to scale. We will also ask you to apply your learnings across many other GTM initiatives that are paramount to our success.

In success, this hire can elevate to a sales leadership role, bringing on additional team members to execute the successful practices they have built to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert inbound leads. Mosey has developed a strong inbound sales motion. This hire will qualify leads, host product demos, drive multi-threaded buying decisions and negotiate purchase agreements.

  • Work existing pipeline. In addition to handling net-new leads, you will proactively manage and re-engage existing pipeline opportunities to drive forward momentum and improve conversion.

  • Iterate on enablement and sales processes. Mosey’s sales motion will never be perfect. This hire will apply learnings from prospect conversations to improve how we engage throughout the sales lifecycle, including things like product collateral, messaging, and sales processes.

  • Sales Performance Tracking. This hire will keep Mosey’s leadership team apprised of our sales function, including our key sales metrics and market insights.

  • GTM leadership. This hire will contribute to marketing initiatives, referral partnerships and other strategic initiatives that will help Mosey acquire customers.

  • Conduit for feedback. This hire will collect and relay market feedback to our product team, helping to shape the future of Mosey’s product.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years of experience selling B2B software products, including closing experience.

  • Experience working in ambiguity and a demonstrated ability to solve the operational challenges that underpin a successful sales lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with common GTM tools, including Hubspot.

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

  • Prior experience selling to HR, legal, finance and accounting teams.

  • Prior experience working with high growth startups.

  • Familiarity with compliance software of any kind.

  • Experience working with partner reps on referral-based selling.

The OTE for this position is $100,000 with a 60/40 split (plus equity), depending on experience. Commission is uncapped with a path to reach up to $140,000.

Our operating principles:

Pursue knowledge

Lead with curiosity, reject bad explanations, and create objective knowledge with a tradition of conjecture and criticism.

Writing is thinking

Many seemingly good ideas don’t survive closer inspection when written down. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, it’s precisely why you should.

Exude warmth

Build a working environment that is welcoming and supportive. Others will want to gather around you.

Be ambitious

We can do more than we think with imagination and resolve. Solving important problems requires it.

Our benefits:

  • Competitive compensation with material equity ownership

  • Health insurance including medical, dental, and vision

  • Mosey pays 100% of your employee premium

  • 3 weeks vacation

  • 8 Paid Company Holidays

  • Paid Family Leave

  • Opportunity to join a diverse, passionate, and fun team at a pivotal time in the company’s lifecycle

  • Remote first (continental US & Canada)

We look forward to hearing from you!
