About The Role

The Human Resources/Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day HR administrative functions and accurately overseeing payroll processing for the dealership team. This individual aligns dealership operations with our Vision 2026 goals by supporting our workforce, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance, and delivering timely and precise payroll services. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and corporate HR/payroll teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.


What You Will Do – Essential Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Manage and execute end-to-end multi-state payroll processing, ensuring timeliness, accurate calculations, commission tracking, deductions, and withholdings.
  • HR Administration & Onboarding: Coordinate new hire orientation, employee onboarding, offboarding, and manage personnel records in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Utilize Paycom’s Personnel Discussion Forms to document performance, attendance, and compliance issues consistently, maintaining accurate digital records.
  • Benefits Support: Assist employees with enrollment and questions regarding company benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off policies.
  • Financial & Operational Alignment: Collaborate with the Controller and General Manager to review payroll expenses, audit hours, verify incentive payouts, and maintain proper internal controls.
  • Team & Employee Support: Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for staff, fostering a supportive work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
  • Regulatory Risk Management: Ensure dealership compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, safety standards, and internal corporate HR guidelines.
 Key Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven track record as an HR Administrator, Payroll Specialist, or similar HR/Payroll role, preferably in an automotive dealership environment.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS software systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, benefit administration, and general HR principles.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion, confidentiality, and high professional integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all departments.
  • High detail orientation, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
