Job SummaryProvides recruitment and staffing strategy and support for exempt and non-exempt positions. Acts as a liaison and coach between employees and management to resolve employee relations issues. Interprets and applies Human Resource policies consistently among the workforce.

- Provide employee relations support to local management to include appropriate counseling, guidance, and employment termination when necessary.
- Serve as the daily contact for the local site management and staff to handle employee relations issues, including benefits issues, compensation issues, organizational development or general employment concerns.
- Conduct investigative interviews when employee complaints arise (i.e. sexual harassment or discrimination). Evaluate information gathered and determine the best course of action from a business, ethical and legal compliance standpoint. Follows through with the most appropriate action and follow up with original complainant.
- Coordinated temporary staffing needs and maintains relationship with appropriate recruiting agencies.
- Manage the recruitment process and costs for all open headcount positions at the local site.
- Create and maintain innovative recruitment strategies
- Attend local job fairs
- Generate Hire Requisitions as needed.
- Generate internal job posting and manages the response process.
- Post open positions externally with the most appropriate resource.
- Manage the interview process, coordinating interviews with external candidates and internal hiring panel.
- Utilize behavioral interviewing skills to screen potential candidates.
- Advise hiring panel on final job offer decision
- Extend employment offers and process appropriate paperwork for selected candidate
- Conduct new employee orientation, including distribution of new hire paperwork, employee handbooks, and benefits materials to local site staff.
- Conducts exit interviews and investigates key issues or concerns.
- Facilitate and support the performance review process semi-annually and annually
- Keep Organizational charts and Job Descriptions updated.
- Plan and execute employee relations events.
- May represent FK at Unemployment Insurance, Workers Compensation and other such hearings.
- Will conduct training programs, develop and deliver presentations.
- Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 + years of strong HR Generalist experience and a four-year degree are required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Windows applications and have an understanding of HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and Applicant Tracking systems.
- Must have a solid understanding of labor law and previous recruitment experience.
