Inside the Role

The role is key to helping the Company uphold employee relations, improve engagement, and maintain processes/procedures that facilitate communication. This position allows the person to provide consultation on content and process to operations leaders or personnel in areas including but not limited to employee relations, policies and procedures, benefits, compensation and staffing.  This position will assist with employee onboarding, HRIS administration, and partnering with the HR team to implement both local and company-wide programs.  In addition, the person will participate in projects, compile data and KPIs, and report out as needed.  This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow your manufacturing human resources career in fast-paced collaborative environment.

Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD  

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive
  • Oversee and monitors a variety of human resources programs. 
  • Partner with key departments such as production, office services, security, and IT to collaborate, acquire information, problem solve, and achieve desired results.
  • Anticipates and plans for short and long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
  • May lead projects or processes as required (Coordinate external job fairs/recruitment events, facilitate internal job bid system, engagement survey, etc.).
  • Manage employee uniform service enrollment for plant shop employees.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of working knowledge and expanded professional experience in HR.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office, Excel, Database, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLLOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF Statements)
  • High-level customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and adherence to privacy requirements.
  • Works independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity.
  • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of federal and state employment laws. 
  • Demonstrated employee engagement, and maintaining processes/procedures that facilitate communication.  
  • Experienced maintaining composure under pressure including tight deadlines.
  • An attached resume is required.
Exceptional Candidates Must Have
  • Experience supporting a Manufacturing or light industrial environment.
  • Microsoft Power BI skills.
  • A Degree with focus on Human Resource Management is preferred.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with various HRIS systems including Workday and/ or UKG Workforce Management.
  • Background in Full Cycle recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing roles.
  • Experience with union or collective bargaining agreements.
  • Experience leading projects or processes.
