The Human Resources Business Partner manages employee relations, workforce development, and coaches managers on HR processes, while collaborating on talent management activities and compliance training.

RESPONSIBILITIES #Ll-Remote
- Manages employee relations, workforce development and readiness, retention and engagement activities for one or more lines of business within Park National Bank
- Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers on positive and legal handling of workplace conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, performance management, compensation management, timekeeping, and separation of employment processes
- Collaborates with Line of Business Leaders and Talent Management teams to fulfill talent management planning and development activities, needs assessment, succession planning, and ongoing analysis for their areas of responsibility
- Assists with post-employment processes, including separation documentation, and analysis of exit survey data
- Provides coaching and assistance to associates with conflict resolution and work-related issues, including collaboration with Learning and Development team on career path development as applicable
- Collaborates on HR projects and initiatives within the Compensation, HRIS, Payroll, Recruiting, and/or Talent areas
- Represents or coordinates representation for Park National Bank at Career Fairs and community events
- Assists with compliance and delivers training related to HR policies including No Harassment Policy, Substance Abuse Policy, ADA, and FMLA
- Completes learning and development activities to sustain knowledge of commonly used concepts, employment law practices, and procedures in the HR field
- Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
- Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards

SCHEDULE
This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience with a minimum of 3 years' HR experience required
SHRM-CP maintained, or obtained within 1 year
Thorough understanding of Park National Bank policies and procedures preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel within the Park National Bank footprint required, and to conferences or other training as needed. Periodic travel to Newark Ohio required for team and department meetings.
