To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a HRIS Manager located in South Carolina Remote.
Reporting to the Sr. Payroll Shared Services Manager, the HRIS Manager will be in charge to coordinating/maintaining the effective design, implementation, and operation of the Human Resource Information System. Provides guidance and expertise to assist HR & Payroll in development and on-going maintenance of business processes related to human capital management, compensation, benefits & development in information systems.
What a typical day looks like:
- Second tier support for HR & Payroll on HRIS issues.
- Works with HR, IT and other organizations to resolve issues to address gaps or develop/recommend solutions for improvements.
- Monitors and maintains data integrity procedures and process in HRIS.
- Responsible for data management, quality and integrity of information within HRIS, taking effective measure to conduct regular audits of HR data so as to ensure data accuracy at all times.
- Review incoming requests, identify and communicate potential issues and provide recommendations
- Partner with HR and IT on new requirements and changes to system configuration
- Recommend or develop solutions to address gaps/improvements in HRIS processes
- Assign and audit users’ security roles in compliance with SOX
- Coordinate and collaborate testing for system configurations and/or upcoming system releases
- Create reports to meet business and legal requirements
- Train HR & Payroll on HRIS processes and forms.
- Communicate with management and peers on issues, conflicts, risks and resolutions on a timely fashion
- Create and maintain documentation related to testing and operation of business processes inside HRIS system.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- 5+ years of relevant working experience
- Prior experience working with UKG system
- Vast knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence, UGK’s report writing application) API’s (Application Programming Interface) and 3rd Party Vendor Interfaces required
- HR Knowledge – Employee life cycle and payroll.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style
- Previous experience working with Workday or SOX is preferred.
