As an HR Intern, you will provide administrative support for recruiting and onboarding processes, coordinate candidate interviews, and assist with DEI initiatives, while gaining experience in various HR functions.
Daxko builds the software that powers fitness, wellness, and community organizations—everything from member management and payments to digital engagement and analytics. From small studios to the largest associations, we help thousands of fitness businesses streamline operations, enhance member experiences, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
As a Talent Team Intern, you’ll be part of the team that helps make that happen. This internship is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a people-first organization supports its team members from the moment they apply through onboarding and beyond. With guidance from our Talent team, you’ll gain exposure to recruiting, HR operations, onboarding, and HR systems, while contributing to meaningful work that supports our culture and values.
You’ll report to the Senior Director of Recruiting or the SVP of People and collaborate closely with teammates across the Talent Team (HR) and the business.
In this role, you’ll support day-to-day Talent team activities while building foundational HR and recruiting skills:
- Provide administrative support across Talent initiatives, including onboarding and benefits-related tasks
- Help coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, always prioritizing a positive and respectful candidate experience
- Partner with the Daxko Culture Committee to help plan events and activities that engage and connect team members
- Support administrative needs for our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee
- Contribute to intern projects focused on improving processes and supporting continuous improvement
- Learn a lot, ask great questions, and have fun along the way
What you’ll gain
By the end of the internship, you can expect to walk away with:
- Real-world experience supporting a growing Talent team
- Exposure to multiple HR functions and systems
- A deeper understanding of inclusive hiring and people operations
- Stronger communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience that helps prepare you for a future career in HR, recruiting, or business operations
What we’re looking for
We’re excited to meet candidates who are curious, motivated, and people-centered. You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (HR, Business, or a related field preferred)
- Care deeply about inclusion, equity, and belonging
- Communicate clearly and comfortably with a variety of people
- Are comfortable using technology such as social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
- Are eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- Can commit to working approximately 20-25 hours per week (schedule is flexible)
