Description

HR Generalist

Pooler, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time

We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our team, where you'll provide hands-on HR and administrative support across multiple locations while helping ensure our people processes remain organized, responsive, and compliant. Working closely with the Regional HR Manager, you'll support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation while assisting with employee inquiries, HR documentation, leave administration, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and ready to grow beyond generalist responsibilities. You'll thrive if you enjoy keeping processes moving, supporting employees and managers, managing competing priorities, and becoming a dependable resource across a fast-paced, multi-state operation.

Your Impact:

As a HR Generalist, you will:

  • Support the Regional HR Manager(s) with day-to-day HR administration across multiple locations, including employee documentation, personnel changes, records, reporting, and HRIS updates.
  • Serve as a resource for routine employee and manager questions, providing timely support and escalating more complex employee relations or compliance matters as appropriate.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, job and status changes, transfers, promotions, performance documentation, and separations.
  • Assist with leave, accommodation, benefits, workers' compensation, and attendance processes by gathering documentation, tracking requirements, and coordinating with employees and internal partners.
  • Support multi-state HR compliance through accurate recordkeeping, required notices and documentation, audits, training follow-up, and adherence to company processes.
  • Partner with the Regional HR Manager(s), Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations to follow through on HR requests and ensure employees and leaders receive consistent support.
  • Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Psychology, or a related field required.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience and HR Generalist responsibilities; experience supporting multi-shift operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, performance management, and workplace investigations.
  • Strong coaching, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills with the discretion to manage sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, leave/benefits, performance management, and Microsoft Office tools; comfort using HR analytics and technology to support decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide organized HR support across multiple locations or states; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
