We’re looking for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our U.S. and Canadian operations. This is not a typical HRBP role — you’ll operate at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and people excellence, helping shape how we grow, lead, and inspire teams across North America. You will work 100% remote supporting employees mostly based in the EST time zone.
If you’re a forward-thinking HR leader who thrives in dynamic, global environments and brings experience from the IT or digital services industry, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Business Partnership
- Serve as an advisor to business leaders across the U.S. and Canada, translating business goals into actionable people strategies.
- Partner closely with leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, workforce planning, and change management.
- Use workforce analytics and insights to drive data-informed decision-making and improve business outcomes.
✅ Employee Experience & Engagement
- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and well-being across distributed teams, including CSR and ESG events.
- Partner with Communications and HR teams to deliver consistent, transparent messaging that reinforces connection and culture globally.
✅ Talent Development & Performance
- Collaborate on talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development tailored for IT and engineering professionals.
- Reinforce a performance-driven culture through coaching, feedback, and use of tools like Encourage.
✅ Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with U.S. Federal, State, and Canadian employment laws.
- Ability to conduct workforce reduction (RIFs) conversations and complete all necessary Notification and Workforce Reduction / Separation paperwork.
- Partner with HR Centers of Expertise (Coe’s) to deliver programs in total rewards, mobility, and talent management.
- Maintain operational discipline and governance, aligning local practices with global HR standards.
- Possess the ability to transform policy into best practice “How To” HR Trainings.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
✔ 8+ years of progressive HRBP experience within IT services, consulting, or a technology-driven organization.
✔ Strong command of U.S. Federal and State employment laws; knowledge of Canadian HR regulations is a plus. Preferably SHRM certification.
✔ Proven ability to partner with managers and team leads to provide guidance, support, and practical HR solutions.
✔ Proven success in fast-paced, matrixed, global environments.
✔ Exceptional interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills.
✔ High cultural intelligence and ability to collaborate effectively across geographies and functions.
