Neighbors Bank is on a mission to make homebuying more affordable, accessible, and achievable – especially for first-time and rural buyers. To help share this message with the world, we’re looking for a charismatic, mortgage-savvy storyteller to serve as the face of our video, media, PR, and content strategy.
This is a fully remote, high-visibility role designed for someone who knows their way around FHA, USDA, conventional, and down payment assistance loans – and can explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways and various formats across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and national media.
What You’ll Do- Be the face and voice of Neighbors Bank across social platforms, media outlets, and video content
- Produce high-quality, platform-native videos that make mortgages approachable and understandable
- Turn our products and programs (FHA, USDA, DPA, etc.) into engaging stories that stick
- Represent us on podcasts, webinars, and in local and national media
- Create and pursue press opportunities that showcase your expertise and our mission
- Collaborate with our marketing, product, and PR teams to lead an authentic, educational content engine
- Confidence in front of the camera and in media interviews
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn complex topics quickly and explain them clearly
- A dedicated 6x6 ft space at home to serve as your video set (we’ll provide equipment and pay for setup!)
- Note: You do not need to be a video editor. We will hire a support team for that.
- Knowledge of residential mortgage programs, especially FHA / USDA / DPA
- An existing online presence, personal brand, or social media following in related spaces
- Are obsessed with storytelling and creating content in all forms (short-form, long-form, livestreams, podcasts, etc.)
- Are a prolific content creator with the discipline to post consistently (daily)
- Shine on camera and know how to capture attention, whether it’s in 6 seconds or 6 minutes
- Want to be seen as a national expert and can talk your way around homebuying and mortgages
- Aren’t afraid of the spotlight and love connecting with people
- A national platform with marketing support to help grow your visibility and thought leadership
- Budget for equipment, professional training, PR efforts, travel, and media production
- A collaborative support team to help edit, distribute, and scale your content
- Competitive pay based on your experience, qualifications, and the unique value you bring – candidates who meet advanced criteria may qualify for starting pay at the top of the range
