Temporary, Full-Time | 6-Month Engagement | Remote

👋 Hi, I’m Tabitha — Head of Talent Operations at SimSpace.

I lead our Talent function, including global hiring, talent operations, internal mobility, onboarding, employee experience, and the systems that support each stage of the employee journey.

At SimSpace, we believe hiring is more than filling roles. It’s about building relationships, creating exceptional experiences, and helping people and teams grow thoughtfully.

I’m looking for a Hiring Partner to join our team for a full-time, temporary six-month engagement. You’ll help us deliver strong global hiring outcomes while supporting candidates and employees through important career moments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on recruiting with candidate experience, operational excellence, and collaborative partnership. You’ll work closely with our Hiring & Internal Mobility team, hiring managers, interviewers, People Operations partners, and business leaders across the organization.

If you enjoy building connections, improving processes, and helping organizations grow through thoughtful hiring practices, I’d love to meet you.

About the Role

As a Hiring Partner, you’ll support full lifecycle recruiting across a variety of technical and nontechnical functions, including R&D, Product, Go-to-Market, G&A, and Professional Services.

You’ll help hiring teams move searches forward, develop and engage talent pipelines, maintain reliable recruiting operations, and create a responsive and inclusive experience for every candidate.

You’ll also support onboarding and orientation activities so that the experience we create during recruiting continues after a candidate becomes a SimSpacer.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage multiple searches, maintain strong communication, and move work forward independently while remaining closely connected to the broader team.

As a Hiring Partner, You’ll:
  • Support full lifecycle recruiting activities

  • Partner with hiring managers and interview teams on search strategy, process execution, and candidate experience

  • Source and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, talent platforms, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

  • Create thoughtful candidate outreach and employer brand content that strengthens engagement

  • Deliver a responsive, inclusive, and high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process

  • Support equitable, structured, and consistent hiring practices across the organization

  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, workflows, documentation, and candidate records

  • Help coordinate onboarding and orientation activities so new hires feel informed, welcomed, and prepared

  • Collaborate across Hiring & Internal Mobility, People Operations, hiring teams, and business leadership

  • Identify practical opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and communication

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be successful in this role when you are:

  • Delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience across multiple concurrent searches

  • Building organized, proactive talent pipelines that improve hiring responsiveness

  • Maintaining clear communication, reliable follow-through, and consistent recruiting operations

  • Managing competing priorities without losing attention to detail

  • Keeping candidate and hiring data accurate and up to date

  • Contributing ideas and process improvements that strengthen the hiring function

  • Helping new hires feel connected to SimSpace before and during onboarding

  • Building trusted relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and cross-functional partners

You’ll Be a Great Fit If:

🤝 You are relationship-oriented. You genuinely enjoy helping people explore career opportunities and making important decisions with confidence.

⚙️ You value operational excellence. You care about clean processes, accurate data, clear documentation, and reliable execution.

📣 You communicate with care. You keep candidates and stakeholders informed and adapt your communication to different audiences.

🔍 You are naturally curious. You ask thoughtful questions, seek context, and enjoy learning about new roles, teams, and technologies.

🧩 You are collaborative and accountable. You enjoy working as part of a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities.

🚀 You are comfortable with change. You can adjust when priorities shift and continue moving work forward in a fast-paced environment.

💡 You look for better ways to work. You notice opportunities to improve workflows, communication, and candidate experiences.

🌎 You think globally. You are comfortable supporting hiring across locations, time zones, business functions, and cultures.

You Might Not Be a Great Fit If:
  • You prefer working on only one or two searches at a time and find frequent context switching difficult

  • You rely on others to closely direct or prioritize your daily work

  • You view recruiting primarily as scheduling and moving candidates through stages

  • You are uncomfortable sourcing and engaging passive candidates

  • You prefer established processes and are hesitant to test new approaches

  • You do not enjoy maintaining accurate recruiting data and documentation

  • You are looking for a people-management role rather than a hands-on individual contributor position

  • You prefer predictable priorities over a fast-moving environment where business needs may evolve

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of recruiting, talent operations, or related experience in a technology, startup, or fast-paced business environment

  • Experience supporting full lifecycle recruiting across multiple teams or business functions

  • Experience sourcing and engaging both active and passive candidates

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting workflows

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining responsiveness and attention to detail

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with hiring teams and cross-functional partners

  • Experience supporting candidate experience, onboarding, or broader talent operations initiatives is preferred

  • Experience using Ashby is a strong plus

Tools & Technology

You’ll work within a modern recruiting and collaboration environment that includes:

  • Ashby

  • LinkedIn Recruiter

  • SeekOut

  • Google Workspace

  • Notion

  • Slack
