About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Talent Acquisition to lead the next phase of our recruiting function at YipitData. You will inherit an established team, systems, and processes and will be responsible for assessing what is working, identifying where change is needed, and evolving the function into a more strategic, scalable, and data-driven talent acquisition organization.

Leading a team of approximately seven recruiting professionals, you will balance strategic leadership with operational depth, partnering closely with People and business leaders to improve how we hire. We are looking for a thoughtful change agent who can navigate complexity, challenge established ways of working, and turn strategy into sustainable change.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.

As Our Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for:

Change Management & Transformation

  • Assess the current TA organization, processes, and ways of working to determine what should be preserved, improved, simplified, or redesigned.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for the next phase of Talent Acquisition, prioritizing the changes that will have the greatest impact on the business.
  • Lead the organization through change by building stakeholder alignment, navigating resistance, and driving adoption of new processes and expectations.
  • Strengthen partnerships across Talent Acquisition, People, hiring managers, and business leaders to create greater clarity, consistency, and accountability throughout the hiring process.

Recruiting Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately seven recruiting professionals, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders, bringing recruiting expertise, market insights, and thoughtful challenge to workforce and hiring decisions.
  • Evolve our approach to proactive sourcing, talent pipelining, and market mapping based on the needs of the business.
  • Provide strategic oversight for senior-level, executive, and other business-critical searches, ensuring the right strategy, resources, and stakeholder engagement are in place.

Operational Excellence & Scale

  • Establish clear recruiting processes, operating rhythms, SLAs, and ownership that improve hiring quality, speed, consistency, and accountability.
  • Build meaningful metrics, dashboards, forecasting, and capacity planning that enable better decision-making and visibility into recruiting performance.
  • Own and optimize our recruiting technology ecosystem, including our ATS, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Identify root causes and recurring bottlenecks across the hiring process and implement scalable solutions that drive continuous improvement.

You Are Likely to Succeed as the Head of Talent If:

  • You bring 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including significant experience leading and developing recruiting teams in high-growth or evolving organizations.
  • You have successfully inherited and transformed an existing recruiting function, operating model, or set of processes and know how to balance thoughtful assessment with decisive action.
  • You have experience supporting hiring across multiple functions, including technical, sales/GTM, and finance or professional services roles, with exposure to senior and executive hiring.
  • You are a strategic operator and influential change agent who uses data and strong business judgment to identify root causes, prioritize effectively, and bring stakeholders along through change.
  • You bring strong recruiting operations and technology expertise, including experience with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS, and understand how technology and AI can improve recruiting effectiveness.
What We Offer

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary:

  • We care about your personal life, and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, flexible vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust.
  • The annual on-target earnings for this position are anticipated to range from $210K–$230K OTE at the Director level. For exceptionally qualified candidates hired at the Senior Director level, compensation may be adjusted based on experience, scope, and internal benchmarks within a range of $240K-270K OTE.
  • The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, and Mountain View. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.

Please note that for this position, we are not able to consider candidates who currently or in the future will require visa sponsorship.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
