About the Role

We're seeking a Head of Sales Operations to be the VP of Sales' right-hand and the backbone of our rapidly scaling enterprise go-to-market engine. As our founding Sales Ops leader, you'll be 100% hands-on initially while building the strategic foundation for our sales organization and scaling the team as we grow. This is a high-impact role where you'll directly enable our aggressive growth targets and serve as a trusted partner in optimizing every aspect of our sales machine.

You'll own the full spectrum of sales operations—from Salesforce administration to territory planning to commission structures—while building scalable processes that will support our growth from startup to enterprise leader.

What You'll Own

GTM Strategy & Planning

  • Design and optimize territory assignments, account segmentation, and sales process workflows
  • Build and maintain our sales forecasting models and pipeline management processes
  • Partner with leadership on quota setting, capacity planning, and go-to-market strategy

Sales Infrastructure & Tools

  • Own and optimize our Salesforce instance—configuration, automation, reporting, and integrations
  • Build executive dashboards and analytics that drive data-driven sales decisions
  • Manage our sales tech stack and evaluate new tools to improve efficiency

Revenue Operations

  • Own pipeline hygiene, deal review processes, and sales methodology implementation
  • Manage month/quarter-end close processes and revenue reporting
  • Own commission calculations, distribution, and sales compensation administration

Sales Enablement & Onboarding

  • Own sales onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing training curricula
  • Build the enablement team as we scale—hire and manage an enablement specialist
  • Create sales content, battle cards, and competitive intelligence materials

AI-Powered Process Optimization

  • Leverage AI tools, agents, and automation to eliminate manual work and scale efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve sales productivity
  • Build intelligent workflows that reduce the administrative burden on the sales team

You Might Be a Fit If You Have:

  • 6-10 years sales operations experience at high-growth enterprise software companies
  • Hands-on Salesforce expertise and ability to build complex workflows without outside help
  • Experience building sales operations from scratch in early-stage environments
  • AI/automation enthusiast who actively leverages AI tools to eliminate manual work
  • Background supporting enterprise sales teams selling complex, high-ACV solutions
  • Strategic leadership combined with tactical execution abilities
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and executive teams
  • Management experience building and leading sales operations or enablement teams

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in AI/ML, data infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS companies
  • SQL skills and experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Background in highly regulated industries (FinServ, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Enablement program development and training delivery experience

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and equity in a category-defining company
  • Direct partnership with executive leadership on go-to-market strategy
  • High-ownership role with immediate impact on company growth and success
  • Professional development opportunities in a fast-growing, well-funded startup
  • Flexible work environment with a results-driven culture

Ready to build the sales operations foundation for the future of enterprise AI? Let's talk.
