Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Programmatic Data (Agency & Platforms) to drive growth through data sales and by cultivating relationships with agencies and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, go-to-market, and product within the advertising technology industry, with a strong focus on data-driven solutions. The role will include full P&L responsibilities related to the data business at Fluent. Candidate must have strong relationships with platform and agency partners within the data industry.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through data sales, forming strong partnerships with agencies and digital platforms.
  • Identify and pursue new verticals and business opportunities by leveraging the company’s unique 1st party data.
  • Expand the company’s data solutions, and market presence with major agencies and brands.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for data-driven insights and solutions in the digital advertising space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure smooth execution of data-related offerings.
  • Meet and exceed P&L targets, focusing on leveraging data for optimization and growth across client campaigns.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, data sales, and account management within the advertising and technology sectors, particularly in the ad tech. 
  • Proven track record of securing partnerships and delivering revenue growth through data solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, data-driven strategies, and evolving trends. 
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and DTC space is a plus. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an emphasis on data-driven solutions. 
  • Ability to work strategically, independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: 175,000 to $200,000 base, $300,00 to $350,000 OTE - The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Fluent salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
