Job Description:

As the Head of Product, you will lead the strategy and execution of our platform strategy and product roadmap across DTN’s multiple industry sectors. You will be responsible for creating innovative and scalable industry platforms that solve our customers’ most complex operational challenges. Working closely with leadership, engineering, and commercial teams, you’ll ensure that our product offerings drive business outcomes and create a competitive edge in the market.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires a deep understanding of our customers, their businesses and industries, strong technical expertise, and the ability to drive execution across multiple teams.

What you will be responsible for:

Platform Vision & Strategy:

  • Own and continuously refine the platform vision, ensuring it aligns with the company’s long-term goals, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Communicate and inspire internal teams and external stakeholders with a clear, compelling vision that drives strategic direction and excitement across the organization.

Product Roadmap:

  • Build and manage the product roadmap, taking into account customer feedback, market demands, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to make informed trade-offs and prioritize initiatives based on data and business impact.
  • Regularly review and adjust the roadmap to ensure the product remains competitive and meets evolving customer and market needs.

Product Execution:

  • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to deliver high-impact features that drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful, on-time product releases by establishing clear milestones, tracking progress, and addressing blockers.
  • Set the standard for quality execution, ensuring products are well-defined, meet customer needs, and align with business objectives.

Customer-Centric Innovation:

  • Leverage deep customer insights to inform product development, ensuring the platform continuously delivers value and solves customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with the customer-facing teams to gather feedback, validate hypotheses, and refine product offerings.
  • Drive innovation within the product, introducing new features and functionalities that align with customer needs and differentiate DTN from competitors.

Market Leadership:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor product offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Make strategic decisions that position the company as a market leader in platform development, ensuring DTN remains a top choice for customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership to adjust product strategies based on evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Provide clear direction, set expectations, and support team members in achieving personal and professional growth.
  • Cultivate an environment of continuous learning, enabling the product team to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 15+ years of product strategy and management experience, including large-scale SaaS or enterprise-level products/platforms.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver successful products that drive business outcomes.

  • Strong customer focus:

    • Skilled at gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing customer insights from feedback, support data, usage metrics, and market research.
    • Able to turn insights into actionable product decisions that improve customer satisfaction.
  • Technical expertise:

    • Experience working with engineering teams to design, build, and scale complex systems.
    • Strong understanding of both product and technical aspects of product development.
  • Data-driven decision-making:

    • Ability to use data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform strategic decisions and prioritize features.
    • Experience with competitive analysis and ensuring product alignment with business objectives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:

    • Strong communication skills and experience working with teams across engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
    • Ability to drive alignment and execution across diverse teams.
  • Proven execution in fast-paced environments:

    • Experience scaling products from early-stage to maturity.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously while delivering high-impact products.
