About the Role:

The base compensation range for this position for candidates in the SF Bay Area is: $190,000 - $284,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, years of experience, and depth of experience.)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and Grow the UX Team: Hire, coach, and retain top-tier designers and researchers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Define and Execute Design Strategy: Translate business priorities into a compelling design vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with our product goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, and other stakeholders to design and deliver category-defining products.
  • Advocate for User-Centric Design: Be the champion of our users by integrating UX research and insights into every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Engage in the design process alongside your team, providing creative direction and contributing to UX solutions, UI design, and graphic design when needed.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact directly with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure our products exceed their expectations.
  • Innovate & Iterate: Build a product vision that encourages rapid design experimentation, continuous learning, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX, product, or interaction design, with a track record of leading high-performing, scaled Product Design organizations.
  • Proven leadership skills in hiring, mentoring, and retaining top design and research talent.
  • Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and managing large-scale redesign projects.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business goals into user-focused design strategies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and executives.
  • A credible, passionate advocate for design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a commitment to delivering world-class user experiences.
