What you will do:
- Lead government and policy advocacy strategies aligned with Ericsson's business priorities across LATAM North, with primary focus on Mexico
- Partner closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute government engagement and advocacy plans
- Serve as the company's ambassador to key government, regulatory, diplomatic, and industry stakeholders, building and maintaining trusted relationships
- Lead direct engagement with government and regulatory authorities across Mexico and the region
- Monitor political, policy, and market developments, translating them into actionable insights and business implications
- Help shape policy positions favorable to the company and industry through engagement with trade associations and direct advocacy
- Prepare and deliver written and verbal materials to support internal and external engagement
- Collaborate across regional and global teams to align priorities and drive effective policy outcomes
- Travel as required across Latin America, the United States, and Europe
The skills you bring:
- Experience in government, the private sector, or trade associations on public policy or technology issues
- Experience across both public and private sectors is a strong plus
- Proven experience engaging directly with government and regulatory stakeholders in Mexico
- Strong understanding of government institutions and policymaking processes in Mexico and the region
- Experience assessing legislative and regulatory developments in the technology and telecom sectors
- Ability to identify and communicate the business impact of policy and regulatory developments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including external representation
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating cross-functionally
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex issues into clear recommendations
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment
- Proactive, adaptable, and strategic mindset
- Fluency in English and Spanish
