The Head of Fintech Partnerships will oversee the financial infrastructure, manage relationships with various financial vendors, and lead partnerships to enhance Felix's payment capabilities.
About Us
At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.
We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.
As the Head of Fintech Partnerships, you will be the architect and guardian of the financial infrastructure that powers Félix. This is a high-impact, "player-coach" role designed for a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of traditional finance and the cutting edge of Web3.
At Félix, partnerships are not just about relationships; they are a core component of our product. You will own our US partner network end-to-end—from banking and payment processors to stablecoin issuers and credit infrastructure vendors. You will work in lockstep with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure our roadmap is unlocked by the best external capabilities and commercial terms possible. You won’t just be managing vendors - you will be building the rails that will empower millions of Latin immigrants.
- Architect Money Movement Infrastructure: Own all US-side banking and payment processor relationships. You are responsible for ensuring performance, pricing, redundancy, and fallback routing that meet our "insanely great" standard.
- Lead Digital Asset Strategy: Manage relationships with stablecoin issuers and yield providers. You will evaluate custody and settlement partners as we build out our proprietary stablecoin infrastructure.
- Bridge Product & Partnerships: Serve as the primary filter between external vendors and internal builders. You will translate product ambitions into partner specs and SLAs, ensuring we never build toward capabilities a partner cannot deliver.
- Drive Commercial Excellence: Lead high-stakes negotiations across our portfolio. You will push for commercial terms that reflect our ownership mindset—optimizing for pricing, exclusivity, and long-term strategic value.
- Enable New Product Verticals: Source and vet the infrastructure vendors required for our emerging credit and lending products, ensuring deep technical integration and compliance alignment.
- Build the Function: Define the playbooks and processes for the Partnerships team. As we scale, you will hire and develop a high-performing team of 2–3 partnership managers who share our bias for action.
- Deep Fintech Expertise: 6–10+ years in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure, with a proven track record of owning complex partner or vendor ecosystems.
- Technical Knowledge of Rails: Deep familiarity with US payment rails (ACH, RTP, Card Networks) and familiarity with stablecoin/crypto-native financial infrastructure. You understand how these work technically, not just conceptually.
- Commercial Rigor: A background in negotiating complex commercial agreements with banks, processors, and tech vendors, where you’ve successfully improved margins or performance.
- Product-First Mindset: Demonstrated experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams. You must be comfortable in roadmap discussions and architectural reviews.
- Startup Resilience: You have a bias for action and are comfortable building structure in a resource-constrained, hyper-growth environment.
- Leadership Readiness: Prior experience managing people or a clear readiness to step into a leadership role as you scale the function.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
