How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:

Paula’s Choice is seeking a Head of Creative, Social Media to lead the creative vision, strategy, and execution of our social platforms globally. This role is responsible for transforming social from a content engine into a brand-building, culture-shaping channel that drives relevance, recommendation, and growth.

You will own the creative direction of social across platforms, lead a high-performing team, and partner closely with brand, product, PR, and performance marketing to ensure social plays a central role in how Paula’s Choice shows up in culture. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can balance bold creative instincts with strategic rigor and measurable impact.

As Head of Creative, Social Media, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

Set the Creative Vision for Social

  • Define and lead the creative strategy for social media in alignment with Paula’s Choice brand vision and business objectives.
  • Establish a distinctive, recognizable social aesthetic and voice that builds trust, desire, and cultural relevance.
  • Ensure all social content is on-brand, high-quality, and designed to drive both engagement and long-term brand equity.

Lead Social as a Brand-Building Channel

  • Develop and execute innovative social campaigns that support product launches, brand moments, and key cultural opportunities.
  • Translate complex skincare science into compelling, accessible, social-first storytelling.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging platforms, formats, and creator behaviors to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

Drive Performance with Creative Excellence

  • Partner with analytics and performance teams to define success metrics for social, balancing reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Use data and insights to optimize creative direction, content mix, and platform strategy over time.
  • Ensure creative decisions are informed by performance, without sacrificing brand standards or originality.

Build and Lead a World-Class Team

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of social creatives and strategists, fostering high standards and strong creative culture.
  • Set clear expectations, workflows, and development paths to help the team grow and perform at a high level.
  • Collaborate closely with external creators, influencers, and agency partners.

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Work cross-functionally with brand marketing, product marketing, PR, retail, and e-commerce to ensure social is integrated into broader campaigns.
  • Partner with influencer and community teams to ensure creator content aligns with brand creative direction.
  • Represent Paula’s Choice in industry conversations, events, and partnerships as a leader in social creativity.

Own Budget and Resource Planning

  • Oversee the social creative budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to deliver impact.
  • Make smart trade-offs between always-on content, tentpole moments, and experimental creative bets.

The Details:

  • Location: Flexible location, though our HQ is located in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District
  • Hours: Typical PST business hours will require some flexibility.
  • Physical requirements:  Ability to sit for long periods and ability to manage long periods of screen time.
  • Travel requirements: up 5-10%.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A sharp creative eye with strong design sensibility and storytelling instincts.
  • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of how social drives brand growth, not just content volume.
  • Extensive experience leading social media for a consumer brand, beauty or lifestyle experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and lead creative teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Strong understanding of social analytics and how to use insights to guide creative decisions.
  • Experience managing budgets and working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders.
