We are actively seeking a GVP, Global Partners, Alliances and Channels. The role will be based in the US and may work from a remote office. Location within commuting distance near a major city as periodic travel will be required as necessary across the world.
Position Summary
Our GVP, Global Partners, Alliances and Channels will bring their strategic vision and innovative approach to build a partner alliance program across each of Rimini Street’s Global Theaters. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a key role in developing, driving and building an ecosystem of partners that deliver value to our customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global partner strategy to build and grow Rimini Street’s presence across all key market segments and regions to achieve business targets.
- Identify, recruit, onboard and develop committed, loyal partners
- Manage the Global Partner, Alliance and Channels sales strategy
- Continually assess, clarify, and validate partner needs
- Track, measure and report partner effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as needed
- Understand our partners' businesses and develop strategies and incentives to enable them to provide more value to their end customers.
- Work cross-functionally internally to provide input on messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner strategy
- Partner with marketing to provide input on the execution of programs and events to drive partner leads, pipeline and deal progression
- Develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationship and value to end customers, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits
- Build partner pipeline and manage partners to that pipeline
- Develop the Global Partners, Alliances and Channels team (recruit, hire and develop)
- Travel will be approximately 60%
Experience
- 20+ years of progressive global sales management and global partner management experience
- 10+ years of demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience hiring and developing direct and indirect reports
- Experience building and managing partners, alliances and channels programs
- Strong ability to interact with and influence C-level executives and team members
- Demonstrable track record of success in strategic planning, owning sales targets and managing sales forecast
- Prior success selling into and building relationships with IT Services, Managed Services, Consulting, Systems Integrators or software firms

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience.
Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.
The general salary range for this type of role is 280k - 290k depending on skills and experience.
