We're now investing heavily in AI, automation, and signal-driven go-to-market systems to accelerate growth beyond our traditional inbound motion.

This is a rare opportunity to become Hubstaff's first GTM Automation Engineer and build this function from the ground up.

Working closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success, you'll design the automation, AI workflows, and GTM systems that power outbound growth, account-based marketing, and revenue generation.

What You'll Do
Build and Scale Signal-Based GTM Systems
  • Design and operationalize workflows that transform product usage, intent, hiring, firmographic, and behavioral signals into automated sales and marketing actions

  • Build repeatable systems that identify, prioritize, and engage target accounts at the right time

  • Create scalable triggers that improve targeting, personalization, and pipeline generation

Own Outbound and Account-Based Infrastructure
  • Build account identification, enrichment, scoring, segmentation, and orchestration systems

  • Improve outbound efficiency through automation, data enrichment, and intelligent targeting

  • Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to create scalable, always-on outbound motions

Design AI-Powered Automation Workflows
  • Build AI-assisted workflows for account research, prioritization, enrichment, routing, and personalization

  • Leverage tools such as Claude Code, AI Studio, ChatGPT, and emerging agent frameworks to increase GTM efficiency and effectiveness

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve automation, targeting, and revenue generation

Drive GTM Experimentation
  • Rapidly test new ICPs, messaging strategies, engagement channels, and orchestration models

  • Launch experiments, measure outcomes, and iterate based on performance

  • Help shape Hubstaff's long-term approach to AI-powered go-to-market execution

 
 
What We're Looking ForMust-Haves
  • 5+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar technical GTM role

  • Experience building and deploying automation workflows that drive measurable business outcomes

  • Strong HubSpot experience, including workflows, integrations, custom objects, and automation architecture

  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows, automation platforms, and agent-based systems

  • Experience with outbound, ABM, demand generation, or revenue growth motions

  • Ability to connect APIs, systems, and data sources using low-code, no-code, or light-code solutions

  • Strong systems-thinking mindset and ability to work across Marketing, Sales, Success, Product, and Data teams

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with both technical and business stakeholders

Nice to Haves
  • Experience with Clay, Common Room, Apollo, 6sense, Lemlist, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar GTM platforms

  • Experience with agentic workflow tools such as Claude Code, n8n, AI Studio, or similar automation frameworks

  • Basic scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or APIs

  • Experience in PLG SaaS or hybrid PLG + sales-assisted SaaS environments

Experience building GTM systems from scratch in startup or growth-stage companies
Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $110,000–$140,000 USD annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, location, and overall alignment with the role.
