Lead analytics for growth strategy, focusing on customer acquisition, paid marketing measurement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth.
The summary above was generated by AI

It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.
Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We've been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.
The Role:
In 2025, Cash App is setting its sights beyond the core programs that got us to 50M+ monthly active users, breaking into new audiences with cross-functional go-to-market work, increasing adoption of our banking products, and accelerating virality. To support this, the Growth Marketing team is tasked with growing the Cash App network using measurable, efficient, and scalable levers. This includes paid marketing, referrals, affiliate, our website, App/Play Store, onboarding, as well as incentives and offers. The Growth Strategy & Analytics Lead will own the analytics that fuels each of these programs and drive holistic growth analytics that shapes Cash App's GTM strategy.
A significant part of this work is about managing the analytics for an 8-figure performance marketing budget. This hire will need a deep understanding of paid marketing and its measurement across MMM, incrementality testing, and attribution, as well as methods to continue innovating toward best in class optimization. Simultaneously, our team is leading a cross-functional effort aimed at driving a meaningful inflection in growth through new audiences, products, and levers, expanding far beyond paid marketing. Here, you'll use data to help shape our strategy including market sizing, audience expansion exploration, referrals virality analysis, and onboarding A/B testing.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative team where your expertise in growth analytics will be pivotal in shaping how Cash App acquires new audiences and achieves its key business goals.
You Will:

  • Lead Customer Acquisition Strategy & Analytics with 2 direct reports.
  • Operationalize our paid marketing measurement stack, including MMM, incrementality testing, and attribution.
  • Drive the evolution of our marketing analytics approach as we adapt to web + app campaigns, privacy updates, and new tools.
  • Conduct deep analysis to shape Cash App's GTM strategy, combining both internal + market data.
  • Collaborate with partners across Customer Insights, Finance, Product, and Product Marketing to align all our efforts, rooted in data.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of analytics experience. This may include working on core performance metrics on a Biz Ops, Business, or Product team, but should include recent experience in a Growth Marketing analytics role.
  • People management experience, or experience leading cross-functional work streams and mentoring peers.
  • A deep understanding of mobile growth marketing measurement. You should have a strong perspective on methods to measure the incremental impact of paid marketing.
  • Outside of paid marketing, experience working on and influencing business-wide metrics.
  • A penchant for growing companies; your approach to analytics is driven by hypotheses you originate and an instinct for growth opportunities.
  • Advanced SQL and data visualization tooling experience (i.e. Tableau, Mode, or Looker).

Not required but a plus:

  • Experience embedded in a high velocity Growth team
  • Experience across mobile + web growth marketing measurement
  • Experience in fintech or other network-based, high growth companies
