The Growth Marketing Manager will lead user acquisition strategies, optimize multi-channel campaigns, and conduct data-driven experimentation to enhance customer engagement and retention.
WHO WE ARE
At Trustly, we're building a smarter, faster, and more secure financial future by revolutionizing the world of payments. As a global leader in Open Banking Payments, we are establishing Pay by Bank as the new standard at checkout, providing unparalleled freedom, speed, and ease to millions of consumers and merchants worldwide.
Our Ambition: To build the world’s most disruptive payment network and redefine what the payment experience should feel like.
Trustly is a global team of innovators, collaborators, and doers. If you are driven by a strong sense of purpose and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment, join us and be part of a team that’s transforming the way the world pays.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Trustly’s Growth Marketing Manager, you will own the user acquisition strategy and execution for our consumer-facing capabilities in the US market. You will build, operate, and scale efficient acquisition engines across paid, organic, and partnership channels, with a clear mandate to validate unit economics before unlocking meaningful spend.
This role is about creating repeatable growth—grounded in data, discipline, and impact.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
A lean team that is combining the power of agentic AI with seamless financial tools to provide users with a new financial experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Divide your time between high-stakes execution, viral engineering, and data-driven experimentation.
- Launch and optimize multi-channel paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit.
- Scale performance via Google App Campaigns, podcast sponsorships, and influencer partnerships.
- Build the attribution infrastructure required to track CAC by channel and cohort with surgical precision.
- Design and launch dual-sided referral mechanics and viral loops to lower blended CAC.
- Execute distribution partnerships through employers, colleges, and niche communities.
- Own the funnel: Identify drop-off points from download to active usage and run rapid retention experiments.
- Build cohort analysis dashboards to monitor activation, retention, and LTV.
- Maintain an "experimentation obsession"—running lean tests and killing underperforming tactics quickly.
WHO YOU ARE
- 7+ years leading growth at a high-growth B2C app or marketplace (mobile-first preferred)
- Strong track record scaling user acquisition in competitive US consumer markets
- Highly proficient in cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and full-funnel optimization
- Equally comfortable in paid media platforms and building attribution infrastructure
- Experience in proving unit economics with constrained budgets before scaling
- Preferably US-based (or UK-based with a demonstrable and deep understanding of the US market)
Applications for this role are accepted on an ongoing basis.
