Position Summary

The Growth Marketing Manager is a highly driven, hands-on marketer responsible for turning growth marketing strategy into high-quality content, creative and campaign execution. This role supports Guild’s Loan Officer growth priorities, with a primary focus on Loan Officer recruiting and Elevate coaching. The Growth Marketing Manager personally brings ideas to life by writing and editing copy, creating Canva-based assets, building content calendars, managing assigned campaigns and producing social, presentation, storytelling and event-related content that helps Guild attract, engage and retain high-performing Loan Officers.

Compensation

This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $64,000 to $72,000 annually.

Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.

Essential Functions

  • Personally execute growth marketing initiatives supporting Loan Officer recruiting, Elevate coaching, retention and related growth priorities.
  • Turn strategic direction and business goals into campaign plans, content calendars, creative assets and completed work.
  • Own assigned initiatives from idea through development, review, launch and follow-up, maintaining momentum across competing priorities.
  • Write and edit clear, audience-focused content for social media, email, presentations, scripts, campaigns and event communications.
  • Develop social media strategy, content calendars, copy and creative for assigned growth initiatives and executive or thought-leader channels in partnership with Guild’s Social team.
  • Create platform-appropriate social posts, carousels, short-form video concepts and calls to action, and repurpose meetings, events, podcasts, interviews and presentations into reusable content.
  • Coordinate reviews, approvals, scheduling and publishing through established partners and processes. Guild’s Social team retains enterprise platform governance and ownership of corporate social accounts.
  • Create polished, on-brand social graphics, presentations, one-pagers, recruiting tools, campaign materials and event assets using Canva.
  • Translate rough ideas into compelling creative, develop reusable templates and recognize when partnership with Brand & Creative is required.
  • Interview Loan Officers, recruiters, coaches and leaders to capture stories, testimonials, insights and proof points that demonstrate Guild’s value.
  • Support Elevate enrollment, engagement, events, coaching content and social visibility.
  • Create scalable marketing tools and resources for recruiters, coaches, sales leaders and internal partners.
  • Support selected executives and thought leaders by translating their perspectives into authentic social content, presentations, talking points and marketing assets.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners through strong listening, clear communication, direct outreach and dependable follow-through.
  • Travel to selected events, conferences, strategy sessions and content productions, supporting storytelling and content activation before, during and after each experience.
  • Use approved generative AI and emerging technology tools, including ChatGPT, Claude and similar platforms, to accelerate research, ideation, drafting, editing, content repurposing, rapid prototyping and workflow improvement.
  • Develop effective prompts and repeatable AI-enabled workflows, applying human judgment and validating outputs for accuracy, tone, brand alignment and compliance.
  • Independently learn new tools and identify practical opportunities to improve the team’s speed, creativity and effectiveness.
  • Track campaign-level goals, content and social media performance; maintain clear scorecards and provide observations and recommendations to improve results.
  • Maintain organized campaign files, Canva templates, content libraries, story assets and project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum three years experience in social media, content marketing, growth marketing, communications or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media content, content calendars and multi-channel campaigns, including LinkedIn or other business-focused platforms.
  • Advanced Canva proficiency with a portfolio demonstrating professional-quality creative work.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to take broad strategic direction, create the work and independently drive assigned initiatives through completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency, accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong listening skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Practical experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar platforms for ideation, research, prompt development, editing, content repurposing or workflow improvement.
  • Curiosity about emerging technology and the ability to independently learn, evaluate and adopt new tools while applying strong marketing judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative cloud-based Experience with social media scheduling, analytics or marketing workflow platforms preferred.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, business development, sales, coaching, executives, thought leaders or live events preferred.
  • Mortgage, real estate, financial services, housing or other regulated-industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Short-form video production, rapid prototyping, automation or emerging AI application experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate proactively in a fully remote environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically, including overnight travel, based on business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

Requirements

  • Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
  • Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Travel 10-20%
  • This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities.
  • Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday.
