About Scrivy

Scrivy is the growth desk for self-published authors. We give KDP authors one toolkit to grow their books on Amazon: keyword rank tracking, sales analytics, listing optimization, A+ Content design, category research, and reader review distribution. We're a small, remote-first team headquartered in the Boston area, building for authors who treat their books like a business.

The role

You'll own paid acquisition, hands on the keyboard. Paid social is a working channel for us today, and your job is to make it bigger and more efficient: better creative, sharper landing pages, cleaner measurement, and disciplined scaling. This is not a strategy-deck role. You'll build the campaigns, write the ad copy, brief the videos, and live in the numbers daily.

You'll report to the Marketing Lead (or the founder until that role is filled) and partner closely with design and engineering on creative and landing pages.

What you'll do
  • Own paid acquisition end to end: channel strategy, campaign builds, budget pacing, and optimization

  • Develop and test ad creative continuously: hooks, copy, statics, and short-form video briefs

  • Partner with design and engineering to ship and iterate landing pages against clear conversion goals

  • Own funnel measurement from impression to paid subscription, and make spend decisions on unit economics rather than platform-reported vanity metrics

  • Run structured experiments with honest readouts, including the ones that fail

  • Expand into new channels deliberately when the data supports it

What we're looking for
  • 3+ years in performance marketing with direct, hands-on budget ownership (not agency oversight from a distance)

  • Deep Meta Ads competence: campaign structure, creative testing, and the judgment to know when the algorithm needs patience versus intervention

  • Real creative instincts. You can write a hook, spot a tired ad, and brief a video that doesn't feel like an ad

  • Analytical rigor: comfortable in spreadsheets, skeptical of attribution, and honest about what the numbers do and don't say

  • Conversion-rate experience on landing pages, not just in ad accounts

Nice to have
  • Google Ads or other paid search experience

  • Consumer or prosumer subscription products

  • Short-form video creative production or UGC sourcing

  • SQL or comfort pulling your own data

Compensation & benefits
  • $90,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) plan

  • Flexible PTO plus company holidays

  • $1,000 home-office setup budget

  • An annual book stipend, naturally

How we work

We're fully remote across the US, with a home base in the Boston area. The team is small, communication is mostly written and async, and there's no layer between you and the founder. Work ships quickly and gets in front of real authors the same week.

Equal opportunity

Scrivy is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

How to apply

Apply through the form on this page. No cover letter required; a short note about a campaign you ran, what you expected, and what actually happened is more useful to us than a formal letter.
