Job Description SummaryThe Growth & Portfolio Management Manager will partner directly with the Growth & Portfolio Management Leader for ATMRO to support GE Aerospace’s aggressive growth objectives, including expanding shop visit capacity and scaling OE engine output. This role will serve as a critical thought partner and execution lead, supporting inorganic growth initiatives, portfolio analytics, and operational planning across the ATMRO network.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy, Analytics & Decision Support

  • Develop and refine analytical models to support ATMRO growth initiatives, including capacity expansion, M&A business cases, and portfolio trade-off decisions.
  • Analyze complex operational, financial, and market data to generate insights on network performance, capacity constraints, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare clear, executive-ready materials to support strategy discussions, operating reviews, and investment decisions.

M&A, Portfolio & Inorganic Growth Support

  • Support identification, screening, and evaluation of acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships aligned with ATMRO growth objectives.
  • Assist in financial, operational, and strategic due diligence, including market sizing, synergy modeling, and integration planning.
  • Help track deal pipelines, portfolio performance, and post-transaction value capture initiatives.

Operational Planning & Network Optimization

  • Support multi-year capacity planning for shop visits and OE engine output, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to translate growth plans into executable roadmaps.
  • Help define and track KPIs to measure the impact of growth initiatives on throughput, cost, quality, and delivery.

Facilitation & Execution

  • Plan and facilitate working sessions, leadership workshops, and cross-functional reviews related to growth strategy, portfolio priorities, and execution planning.
  • Coordinate inputs across functions (operations, finance, legal, engineering, HR) to ensure alignment and follow-through.
  • Drive structured problem-solving using lean and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Kata, Hoshin Kanri).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, portfolio management, or operations analytics.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building executive-level presentations and synthesizing complex analyses into clear recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, aviation MRO, industrial services, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Exposure to M&A, due diligence, or post-merger integration work.
  • Background in top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, PE portfolio operations, or internal GE strategy roles.
  • Familiarity with lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel / modeling skills; experience with data tools (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python) a plus.
