Job Description
We are seeking a bold and visionary Group Vice President of Platform AI Experience Engineering to lead the technology that powers all user experiences across ServiceNow's platform-web, mobile, and AI. This engineering executive will lead the architecture, development, and global delivery of foundational experience technologies including our web framework, UI components and theming, low-code builders, mobile platform and native applications, as well as our flagship end-user experiences including Workspace and Portal.
A key focus area is leading the engineering behind our next-generation Generative and Agentic AI Experiences-including task summarization, resolution note and KB generation, task classification, research and resolution agents, all deeply integrated into the platform to empower fulfillers across IT, HR, and Customer workflows.
You will oversee a world-class engineering team that builds mission-critical UX technology used across the enterprise, collaborating deeply with Product, Design, AI, and Cloud Platform teams to shape the future of human-AI interaction.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $294,700 - $500,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.

Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the platform's user experience layer across web, mobile, and generative interfaces.
- Drive architectural leadership across core UI (framework, theming, design system), Workspace, and Portal-powering seamless, cohesive user experiences.
- Own the native mobile platform (framework, builder, runtime, apps) for delivering first-class mobile experiences at scale.
- Build and scale low-code/no-code UX tools that empower developers and creators to build rich user experiences with speed and quality.
- Deliver scalable, performant infrastructure and APIs for running AI-infused applications and workflows across ServiceNow.
- Lead development of generative and agentic AI skills: task summarization, resolution note generation, KB/article creation, classification agents, research/resolution bots.
- Foster a high-performance engineering culture that champions innovation, reliability, and customer-centric development.
- Partner across AI, platform, product, and UX teams to define next-gen AI/UX convergence, making AI usable, trusted, and deeply integrated into the product.
- Inspire, mentor, and scale a global engineering team of 500+ across the US, India, and Europe, cultivating future leaders.
- Represent ServiceNow externally on AI-driven UX innovation and modern experience engineering at scale.
Qualifications
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, including building large-scale cloud platforms and modern frontend/mobile experiences.
- Proven expertise in leading enterprise-scale UX technology-frameworks, component libraries, design systems, and builders.
- Deep understanding of native mobile platforms (iOS/Android), cross-platform frameworks, and mobile-first development strategies.
- Strong background in Generative and Agentic AI-experience shipping AI-powered user experiences in enterprise software is a strong plus.
- Experience delivering SaaS products with high performance, scalability, security, and availability.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing globally distributed engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in Agile development, DevOps culture, and modern engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics to business stakeholders and executives.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset and a passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
