Summary 

Dotdash Meredith Brand Licensing & Partnerships is seeking a talented and motivated graphic designer to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the team to design and execute compelling visual communications across a variety of platforms, including print, social media, digital content, and presentation decks.

Hybrid 3x a week- (Des Moines) 

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

We’re looking for a team member with strong marketing and critical thinking skills to help grow our licensing business and secure long-term, authentic, and successful licensing partnerships.


About The Positions Contributions:

Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

40% Designs and executes visual communications for marketing assets that are brand appropriate under
the direction of senior creative team members.

25% Aids in business development efforts by designing pitch decks or other collateral.

25% Assist in the design of research and trend presentations in collaboration with account managers and
directors across the licensing team.

10% Brainstorms with internal and external teams across a variety of topics to assist in the creative process.


The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:

• BA in graphic design or related field

Experience:

One (1) year or more of graphic design experience in a creative, fast-paced media environment (such as advertising, magazine or publishing job or internship).


Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

• Outstanding graphic design skills

• A strong grasp of design and typography trends, and willingness to experiment with forward-thinking design

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — must be able to interact responsibly and professionally with co-workers, creative teams, and outside contributors

• Extreme attention to detail and excellent time management

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment — must be able to accept feedback, direction and remain flexible under tight deadlines

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines under pressure

• Ability to proactively anticipate problems and collaborate with coworkers on solutions

• Detailed knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere) is required and knowledge of Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, and Slides) is preferred
