Position Overview:
The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to design visual content for digital and print media. This role involves assisting in the development of graphics for websites, social media, marketing materials, and branding assets.
This internship is unpaid, designed for educational purposes, and complies with FLSA regulations. It offers valuable exposure to marketing, helping to build a strong foundation for a career in graphic design.
Key Responsibilities:
Create visual concepts for marketing materials such as social media posts, banners, and ads.
Assist in the design of website graphics, logos, and other branding materials.
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure designs align with brand guidelines.
Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing or completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools.
A portfolio showcasing design work.
Internship Details:
Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time).
Duration: 180 days, starting from the agreed upon start date.
Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for educational purposes only.
Location: Remote (U.S.-based time zones preferred, but open to international candidates).
