Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee – Procurement to join our Procurement team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in developing a career in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations. The trainee will gain hands-on experience supporting procurement activities while learning industry best practices and organizational procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Support

  • Assist in the procurement of goods, materials, and services as per business requirements.
  • Support the preparation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Vendor Management

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers.
  • Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding quotations, order status, and delivery schedules.
  • Support vendor onboarding and documentation processes.

Sourcing & Market Research

  • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and pricing trends.
  • Assist in preparing comparative analysis reports for supplier selection.
  • Support sourcing initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain procurement files, contracts, and purchasing records.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports and MIS documentation.
  • Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate records.

Inventory & Coordination

  • Coordinate with stores and logistics teams to track material availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
  • Assist in resolving supply-related issues and delivery delays.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for invoice processing and payment tracking.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or administrative support roles.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
