The Training Coordinator is responsible for leading the plant's training strategy by designing, executing, and sustaining a comprehensive training program that supports compliance, continuous improvement, and employee capability development. This role supports the People, Learning & Development (PLD) pillar of KHMS and ensures alignment between training activities and operational goals. Responsibilities include onboarding, evaluating training effectiveness, maintaining training documentation, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and collaborating with department leaders to meet the needs of both new and existing employees.

Responsibilities include onboarding, evaluating training effectiveness, maintaining training documentation, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and collaborating with department leaders to meet the needs of both new and existing employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Strategy & Execution
- Define and lead the site's training strategy to improve operational efficiency and knowledge retention.
- Manage the full training cycle: assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor, and evaluate training.
- Facilitate training for all critical roles, including new hires, role transitions, and cross-training.
- Design and maintain site-wide Qualification Cards and other training documentation tools aligned with KHMS standards.
- Support the development of departmental trainers and SMEs to improve in-house training effectiveness.
Onboarding & Employee Engagement
- Plan, facilitate, and continuously improve the onboarding process in collaboration with operations and HR.
- Drive site-level training-related engagement activities to support retention and development.
- Provide visibility of training and onboarding progress through digital tools (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, CWP, Ownerversity).
PLD Pillar & KHMS Integration
- Execute all requirements of the People, Learning & Development (PLD) pillar, including but not limited to Qualification Cards, corporate training initiatives, succession planning tools, and standardized work.
- Maintain training compliance with site safety (EHS), food quality (GMP/FSQ), and KHMS expectations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in training records, skills matrix, onboarding status, and SOP/documentation updates.
- Support audits and internal reviews by maintaining accurate and accessible training data.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
- Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in human resources or related field required.
- 1-3 years of training/human resources or manufacturing experience; food processing experience preferred
- Flexible work schedule to assist Trios when required
- Must be able to train, certify, and recertify all employees in assigned areas while maintaining the highest level of support to all employees
- Effective Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and transparently, making information accessible to diverse audiences.
- Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions, as well as the emotions of others.
- Training Facilitation: Knowledge of effective methods and strategies for enhancing the teaching-learning process.
- Knowledge Management: Ability to curate, evaluate, and improve the organization's internal knowledge resources.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other digital platforms to support training initiatives.
