The GPU Power Architecture group is a specialized team within the Software & AI Group. We are a dedicated collective of experts focused on optimizing and advancing the power efficiency and performance of GPU technologies. Our team is committed to driving innovation in graphics processing and computational capabilities.
What We Do:
Our primary mission is to design and develop state-of-the-art power architecture solutions for GPUs that enhance performance while minimizing energy consumption. We work on creating scalable and efficient power management strategies that support a wide range of applications, from gaming and visualization to AI and machine learning. By leveraging our deep expertise in hardware and software integration, we aim to deliver groundbreaking solutions that meet the evolving demands of modern computing environments.
As part of Intel's GPU performance team, the candidate will be working on Intel's new Graphics Processing Units and mainly focus on optimizing the product to achieve the best in class performance. The key areas of focus are 3D graphics rendering techniques and algorithms, workload analysis, Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) debugs and performance bottleneck identification.
You will be working with a group of HW and SW architects, designer/developers in a multi-disciplinary environment.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum skills and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience includes but is not limited to:
- Knowledge of GPU architecture
- RTL debugs
Prefer skills and experience :
- Modern APIs and rendering techniques with great coding skills.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$153,540.00-$216,770.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. However, you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, in which Intel has a legal presence.
