Job Summary
We are looking for a savvy Engineer 3 to join our growing engineering team in Freewheel. Job Description
Core Responsibilities

  • Develop highly scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure the integrity and compliance of the AWS infrastructure and containerized environments.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to build and enhance ad-serving infrastructure.
  • Write and maintain documentation for software functionality and design decisions.
  • Provide technical support for production systems and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with global engineering and operations team to further incorporate collective innovations.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field of study
  • 1-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in cloud computing, distributed systems, or backend development.
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages including GoLang OR Python.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud, containerization and other related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and fundamental knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience in large-scale online service development and operation and maintenance is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Knowledgeable about SDLC, Agile and Software Engineering Methodology.
  • Experience with message queues, caching mechanisms, or distributed databases is preferred.
  • Exposure to high-concurrency, high-availability system design

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $107,448.06 - $161,172.09
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
