Cloudinary is seeking a General Manager to lead the strategic Shopify Ecosystem, within the Ecosystem Technology group. The GM's role will be to grow Cloudinary's revenue from this ecosystem of 1.5M merchants and create new integrations for Cloudinary's product line with Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background, with experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, and technology - or have previously built and run a SaaS startup for e-commerce.
They should be a hands-on doer, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
Cloudinary is the leading cloud-based image and video management platform, and this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and oversee the development and growth of the leading e-commerce ecosystem. On the business side, the GM will operate mostly cross-functionally, supporting the marketing, sales, and post-sales teams in their work for Shopify customers. On the technology side, the GM will have a budget and support system internally to develop integrations and apps for the Shopify ecosystem, as they see fit.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and growth of the Shopify Ecosystem within Cloudinary
- Develop and promote Cloudinary's partnership with Shopify, directly interacting with Shopify and its partner ecosystem.
- Help Cloudinary's Channels team develop partnerships with solution and tech partners in the Shopify Ecosystem
- Build and manage a small, highly-skilled team focused on Shopify integrations
- Ensure that the integrations are meeting the needs of Shopify merchants and achieving product-market fit
- Develop and execute strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention, in co-ordination with Cloudinary's marketing and customer success teams.
- Identify and prioritize new features and enhancements Cloudinary's products that support the ecosystem's development.
- Ensure ARR targets are met.
About you:
- At least 4 years of experience in managerial roles
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS, with a strong background in the entire lifecycle of SaaS products for e-commerce.
- Direct experience with e-commerce technologies, in enterprise environments
- Experience in managing a multi-year tech and GTM budget, and showing RoI
- Experience in running projects in matrixed environments.
- Education: MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
- Location: Canada, US or UK
