Global Trial Manager (Early Development)

Leads GitLab’s Database Excellence organization, setting strategy for PostgreSQL and other application datastores. Owns database reliability, capacity, availability, sustainability, infrastructure costs, and platform standardization. Manages three Engineering Managers, develops technical leaders, oversees hiring and organization design, establishes objectives and KPIs, manages budgets, partners cross-functionally on platform investments, and serves as an escalation point for database incidents and operational processes.

Drives enterprise storage sales across the Western Region and Department of Energy accounts. Builds pipelines, develops new business, manages consultative customer and channel relationships, qualifies technical and business opportunities, negotiates deals, and leads storage solution pursuits. Serves as the storage subject matter expert, articulating technical and financial benefits to customers up to the C-level while coordinating account teams, partners, marketing, and presales resources.

Sells complex HPC and AI infrastructure products, services, and software across the Southeastern United States. Builds pipeline, develops new opportunities, expands customer relationships, engages executive and technical stakeholders, creates business cases, negotiates and closes deals, and partners with account and solution teams. Serves as the regional HPC and AI subject matter expert while growing revenue and market share.
