Job Description
The priorities of the Consumer Security Team include delivering first-class security services to Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), acting as a trusted advisor, and engaging with the branch network to create meaningful partnerships. These priorities are achieved by providing effective and efficient levels of physical protection for CCB employees and customers, which involves responding to incidents, assessing and modifying security measures, assessing risk, and proactively identifying needs. Our internal and external partnerships are paramount, working in coordination with senior management, Line of Business (LOB) partners, law enforcement to respond quickly to issues while continually assessing risk to create a proactive security approach.
In addition to Risk Management, the Consumer Security Team ensures compliance with legal frameworks by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices. The program's proactive approach, supported by data-driven tools and analytics, helps anticipate, mitigate, and respond to security threats, thereby enhancing our internal and external customers trust and supporting business operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL to provide insights into security operations.
- Support data analysis efforts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform security strategies and decision-making.
- Help ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular validation checks.
- Assist in the implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security operations.
- Collaborate with the Consumer Security Operations Governance and Training Lead to identify relevant metrics that align with the Consumer Security strategy.
- Support the design and implementation of BI solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making within the Consumer Security Operations team.
- Assist in creating automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to streamline reporting and analysis.
- Work closely with the Consumer Security team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Provide support in making recommendations based on data analysis to enhance security operations and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Branch Administration and Operations (BAO) team, to ensure alignment with overarching security goals.
- Support the creation of high-impact executive PowerPoint presentations, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling visuals for senior leadership.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
- Proficiency in Excel, with skills in data manipulation, pivot tables, and complex formula creation, ensuring efficient data handling and analysis.
- Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations, with the skill to distill complex information into clear, visually appealing slides for various audiences, including senior leadership.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
