About the Role
The Global Mobility Lead plays a key role in supporting the company's international workforce by ensuring compliance with global mobility regulations and managing mobility-related processes. You will be the primary point of contact for visa renewals, immigration questions, relocations, and cross-border work requests. You are detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in navigating complex global mobility issues. You will be based in our New York City office reporting to the SVP, People Services, Compensation & Rewards.
You Will:
Immigration & Visa Support
- Coordinate and manage visa applications, renewals, and immigration cases in partnership with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding immigration processes, timelines, and documentation requirements.
- Track expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to maintain compliance.
Relocation & Mobility Coordination
- Oversee domestic and international employee relocations, ensuring a smooth experience from pre-move planning to post-move support.
- Work closely with our tax provider and payroll team to ensure tax equalization schedules are current and employees understand process.
- Provide recommendations on relocation benefits such as allowances, payroll, housing, and logistical considerations as needed.
- Oversee year-end tax process with vendors, payroll team and employees.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor and ensure compliance with immigration laws, global mobility policies, and country-specific labor laws.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Handle Cross-Border Work & Remote Requests.
- Review and advise on employee and business requests to work from other locations, assessing legal and operational risks.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, and HRBP teams to evaluate and process short-term and long-term mobility requests.
Employee Support & Advisory
- Be a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and HRBPs on all mobility-related questions including citizenship status changes, permanent residency, and global assignment policies.
- Provide education and resources to stakeholders to enhance understanding of mobility processes and obligations.
You Have:
- 7+ years of experience; including a minimum of 5 years specializing in global mobility and immigration.
- Strong understanding of immigration processes, employment law, and international HR practices.
- Experience working with global mobility providers and immigration counsel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HRBPs, and external vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of global tax implications related to mobility (preferred).

Pay Range: $115,000 - $140,000
