About this role:
Wells Fargo seeks a Global Head of Corporate Banking Middle Office in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations, supporting one of the firm's fastest-growing business. As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners.
This role will unify complex middle office teams into a Global Corporate Banking Lending organization. Responsibilities include developing a strategy, managing external clients, and engaging internal senior stakeholders.
This role demands a bold, enterprise minded, strategic leader who can architect large-scale change, build and maintain strong relationships to heavily influence senior business heads and stakeholders, to drive measurable and lasting impact.
In this role, you will:
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00

In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop multiple specialized teams of less experienced managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering highly complex tasks and risk services for cross-functional stakeholders, internal partners associated with the function or affected by its outcome
- Work with senior management to develop and execute business plans to drive business results.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations management functional area
- Provide expertise on managing complex technical and operational processes with cross-group impact
- Lead Operations management team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures relating to Operational management area
- Collaborate with and influence functional team on the operational processes and initiatives
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Build relationships to share best practices, influence decisions, and ensure efficiencies.
- Improve operations performance to enhance economics, efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management while boosting customer and employee experience.
- Coordinate financial planning, human capital planning, communications, risk reviews, and audits with key partners.
- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- 15+ years' experience covering global operations and/or Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending in an operational capacity.
- Proven ability in partnering with various stakeholders in a complex environment
- Skilled at managing complex projects and initiatives
- Effective leadership across lines of business and key stakeholders
- Strong record of delivering results and decision-making in complex problems
- Transformational leader leveraging technology for efficiency
- Extensive experience in risk management, including RCSA, control testing, and issue management
- Demonstrated ability to globally inspire, influence, and align teams toward strategic goals
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and
- future leaders
- Ability to lead during times of uncertainty and change, maintaining clarity and confidence for the teams
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule
