How you will create an impact

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic Global Accident & Health team at AIG. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, providing training and functional expertise on our CRM & Reporting platform and enabling solutions that drive measurable business value. As a key player in our team, you will leverage your domain knowledge to identify inefficiencies, solve complex problems, and help envision strategic solutions that align with our business objectives.

  • As a Business Analyst, you will facilitate requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze CRM business requirements and functional specifications using Agile project management tools, provide technical teams with requirement walk through sessions as appropriate.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and conflicting business practices, proposing alternative solutions to complex cross-functional problems.

  • Act as a member of a project team, ensuring timely delivery of user improvements and enhancements by effectively employing Agile methodologies.

  • Scope and prioritize CRM enhancement requests with multiple stakeholders, managing and maintaining the product roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain strong business customer relationships, serving as the “voice of the customer” to the Global Accident & Health business team.

  • Ensure business and operational readiness for the deployment of new CRM application features and process changes, lead end-user training.

  • Work with key business stakeholders to provide support on business tracking metrics, design reports and data visualizations.

  • Develop reports and dashboards via the CRM platform to enable business monitoring and tracking of A&H sales pipelines across Group A&H, Direct Marketing and 3rd party Partnerships for A&H markets worldwide.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, and support of CRM systems.

  • At least three years of experience with Salesforce report building, configuration and management of flows and case assignment rules.

  • Proficient knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and providing technical direction amidst uncertainty.

  • Strong understanding of insurance business concepts.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing/re-prioritizing workloads on short notice.

  • Working experience of reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $81,000-$109,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.   A summary of benefits  can be viewed here: US Benefits Overview
