The Global Expansion Manager will drive growth across multiple functions, support new market launches, and build local teams while ensuring alignment across departments.
Our Journey
ShopBack began in 2014 as a late-night spark of inspiration between Henry and Joel — not just to build a Cashback platform, but to reimagine how brands and consumers connect. As former advertisers, they understood the limitations of traditional marketing, and saw an opportunity to deliver more value on both sides. That idea quickly turned into action, with the first prototype built during a 24-hour sprint. Today, ShopBack serves over 50 million users across 13 markets, partners with 20,000+ merchants, and powers over half a million transactions daily. We're building The World’s Most Rewarding Way to Shop — and looking for bold, driven individuals to join us.
Your Role
Join our Expansion team to help build the next growth frontier for ShopBack from the ground up. You’ll play a pivotal role in launching new markets, solving complex challenges creatively, and driving results across marketing, partnerships, operations, and more. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, wears multiple hats, and is motivated by building something from 0 to 1.
Your Adventure Ahead
- Drive Growth Across Functions: Work within the realm of marketing, sales, and partnerships to creatively accelerate user and merchant growth. You’ll experiment, iterate, and execute on high-impact initiatives — whatever it takes to move the needle.
- Be a Cross-Functional Glue: Work closely with teams across product, engineering, customer service, legal and finance and operations to ensure alignment and success in new market launches.
- Own and Execute: Take on multiple roles as needed — from leading initiatives to rolling up your sleeves and getting it done. You won’t just support launches, you’ll drive them.
- Build Local Teams: Help identify, hire, and onboard top talent in new markets. You’ll help shape the team that will carry the business forward and be the culture champion for new markets.
- Support Market Strategy: Contribute to market research and analysis to guide data-driven decisions on launch priorities and playbooks.
