We’re currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our team in Charlotte. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, flexible to meet your career goals.

Your Role:

As a Dermatologist at Tryon, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across specialties to ensure comprehensive, quality care for every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and more

  • Perform skin screenings, biopsies, and minor dermatologic procedures

  • Prescribe appropriate treatments, including medications and topical therapies

  • Educate patients on preventive skincare and ongoing treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our EMR system (Athena)

  • Refer to other specialists as needed

  • Stay informed on the latest dermatological advancements and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Dermatology

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Completion of a dermatology residency program (minimum 4 years)

  • Proficient with dermatologic instruments and procedures

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills

  • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR); experience with Athena a plus
