About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager for the Chief Operations Office (COO) Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence team. This individual will drive the Reporting, FinOps, Playbook & Controls, and Strategy/Roadmap capabilities for our Agentic and GenAI Platform. This role will accelerate enterprise adoption of autonomous workflows, cognitive automation, and multimodal AI through strong governance, operational visibility, financial optimization, and strategic execution.
This Product Owner will define the product vision, develop enterprise-scale frameworks, and partner across Operations, Technology, Finance, AI/ML, and Risk to ensure the platform is scalable, compliant, financially disciplined, and strategically aligned.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop the GenAI & Agentic Playbook spanning ideation → build → evaluation → deployment → monitoring.
  • Establish enterprise governance patterns, including LLM safe-use requirements, compliance controls, PII handling guidelines, hallucination safeguards, rollback mechanisms, and observability standards.
  • Define model assurance standards including validation routines, drift monitoring, bias analysis, and responsible AI workflows.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure platform-level adherence to regulatory, audit, and security expectations.
  • Own the multi-year roadmap for capabilities across the Agentic/GenAI ecosystem.
  • Align platform investments with enterprise AI strategy, operational demand, and emerging capabilities such as multimodal ingestion, memory, and agent tool-use.
  • Create a scalable operating model for intake, prioritization, and sequencing of platform enhancements.
  • Define the long-term architecture direction for insights extraction, telemetry pipelines, cost analytics, governance layers, and controls enforcement.
  • Own and Establish operational dashboards, agent-level telemetry, financial insights, SLA performance tracking, and control observability.
  • Build the operating model spanning cost attribution, consumption forecasting, compute optimization, model-level economics, and unit-cost efficiency.
  • Establish real-time cost governance, scenario modeling, and optimization triggers for large-scale GenAI workloads.
  • Define standards for platform KPIs including adoption, productivity uplift, safety adherence, accuracy metrics, and value realization.
  • Partner across Engineering, AI/ML, Product, Data, Operations, and Finance to deliver secure, reliable, and financially efficient platform capabilities.
  • Influence senior leadership with platform insights, performance analytics, financial trajectory, and operational health.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery and ensure measurable business impact at enterprise scale.
  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning
  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with FinOps frameworks, unit economics, cost forecasting, and KPI design.
  • Experience in AI, ML, and enterprise technology platforms, including hands-on work with GenAI, LLMs, agentic systems, and advanced automation frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise AI governance, including safe-use requirements, hallucination mitigation, model risk management, PII protection, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Strong product leadership with ability to scale enterprise capabilities requiring robust governance and financial discipline.
  • Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence decision-makers across business and technology.
  • Experience owning a multi-year platform or product roadmap, particularly within complex, distributed enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success aligning platform investments to enterprise strategy, operational demand, and emerging technology capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cross-functional technology capabilities with operational excellence.
Job Expectations:
  • This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in the listed location (hybrid schedule - 3 days on-site & 2 remote)
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
