The Functional Analyst will provide technical support, analyze data, and recommend improvements for the Department of Veterans Affairs systems and processes.

PingWind is seeking a qualified Functional Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Responsibilities
The Functional Analyst supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Architecture Technical Architecture Support (EATAS) project will be responsible for:
• Performing technical support services to include technical assessments of technology as defined by the Customer, Quality Assurance of submitted work product, and testing/deployment support for the TRM Application
• Delivering integrated strategic, technical, engineering, and programmatic support needed for the Target State Architecture and Migration Plan and for the continued evolution of the systems used by VA to accomplish its mission
• Availability during core working hours both for the government Customer and team members
• Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
• Analyzing programs, procedures, and systems and making recommendations for optimization and improvement
• Understanding project requirements and making recommendations both internally and to the Customer
• Identifying and resolving issues and problems
• Contributing to the development and delivery of contract deliverables in accordance with the PWS
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation
• Expert communication and client management skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations
• Strong desire and ability to facilitate collaboration
• Experience working in and with cross-functional teams
• Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results
Preferred Qualifications
• VA or similar government organization experience
